The Lean Forward Foundation (LF2) is becoming an integral part of the Lean Alaska vision. The vision for LF2 is to provide Lean Six Sigma Certification opportunities to Military Personnel, Spouses, and Dependents; ALL VETERANS. Lean Alaska believes that process improvement and other methodologies fused within the Lean Six Sigma foundation is important for all aspects of life, both personal and professional. Enhancing opportunities for Active Duty, Transitioning Military, and Veterans, along with their Spouse and Dependent to advance their personal goals and professional careers will be possible with the formation of the Lean Forward Foundation.

Who will LF2 benefit?

• Current or Officially Accepted Dependent College Students
• Military personnel who are in the Transition process
• Retired Military Veterans
• Military Spouses (Active or Retired)

• Spouse and Dependent Program
  • This program helps spouses and dependents of Lean Alaska's Black Belt Graduates
  • Provides FREE Green Belt Hybrid Training and Certification
  • Community Support, mentorship, and coaching
• Veterans Lean Together Program
  • Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) helps veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness reintegrate into the labor force.
    • HVRP is:
      • Easily accessible
      • Hands-on
      • In the community
      • Flexible and collaborative
      • Effective
  • We create an Individualized Employment Plan (IEP) to detail employment goals, strategies, and outcomes that is centered around process improvement for a successful reintegration into the labor force.

      • Provide personalized assessment and career planning
      • Train, Mentor, Coach, and Certify individuals for competitive employment
      • Employment Counseling
      • Funds for in-demand job training and certifications
      • job placement services and follow-ups (Fusion Cell)
      • Referrals to supportive services (housing, health, legal, transportation)
